Enrichment Clubs

Here at Kelvin Grove we pride ourselves on the vast array of morning and after school enrichment clubs we provide. These clubs include music, sports, dance, languages, arts & crafts, cookery and computing.

Clubs give our pupils the opportunity to develop new skills, make friends and build upon their ever-growing confidence and life skills. We regularly add new club attractions to our timetable so please read our ‘Clubs Update’ information issued each term for details and application forms.

We request that parents/carers PAY IN ADVANCE for club places via SIMS PAY ‘Events’ to provisionally book your child’s desired club places.

Once your debit card payment has been authorised your club place is provisionally secured. However, if the club is oversubscribed or is unsuitable for your child e.g. is not the appropriate age for the club, you will be contacted and offered a full refund.

This does not apply to Supersonics, Fife and Piano clubs where members are automatically renewed - subject to payment of the previous term’s fees - and new members can apply to join via Miss Burns.

If your child requires additional support at school, you will need to discuss your club application with Miss Johnson (SENCO) prior to your child starting the club.

For families of children entitled to free school meals, or who may at a particular time find the payment for clubs difficult to afford, please refer to our charging and remissions policy. An appointment, in confidence, with the headteacher or deputies can be made to discuss what support we are able to offer.
